CONSTRUCTION

Our Fume cupboards can be manufactured from a range of materials to suit the application. In most cases the external carcass is manufactured from PVC, however this can be epoxy coated or stainless steel if required.

Our double wall construction, high quality materials and corrosion resistant PVC outer shell ensures that the CHEMFLOW fume cupboard has a lifespan several times longer than its epoxy coated steel counterparts. In harsh environments the CHEMFLOW fume cupboard has been known to survive and operate 4 times longer than its counterpart, and required less maintenance.

PERFORMANCE

The CHEMFLOW fume cupboard was the first to achieve the BS 7258 in 1991 & in 1999 achieved near perfect containment score at 0.5m/s and 0.38 m/s making it the most advanced fume cupboard on the market at that time. Since then we have continued the pursuit of excellence in fume containment with enhancements to our design and to the CHEMFLOW control systems. Now with EN 14175 seeking a higher calibre of Fume Cupboard available in the industry, CSC are confident once again that the certified 0.3 performance of our cupboards is without equal.
